Another Day, Another Tag

Up until three weeks ago I’d never been tagged. Now they’re coming at me from all sides. This one’s from Marjolein at Marjolein Blogging.

A – Available or single: Single but unavailable. I’ve been seeing the same person for over two years.

B – Best friend: Seona, Thatch, Elaine and Yvonne. Yeah Yeah I know I’m supposed to pick one, but sometimes life’s just not like that.

C – Cake or pie: Cake, but I will make an exception for an extra yummy pie (of the dessert variety)

D – Drink of choice: French wine and Jarrah Bavarian style coffee (sadly they don’t make that flavour any more)

E – Essential item you use everyday: My computer (same answer as Marjolein)

F – Favorite color: Green, but I can be seduced by other colours from time to time. I guess it’s a mood thing.

G- Gummy bears or worms: Not unless they’re covered in chocolate

H- Hometown: Melbourne, Australia. Apparently the most liveable city in the world.

I- Indulgence: Anything. I’m in my ’selfish years’ so I indulge myself whenever I can.

J – January or February: January. It’s usually not a hot as February (I’m in Australia don’t forget) and most people are still in summer holiday mode so it’s usually fairly relaxed at work.

K – Kids & names: Seona (pronounced Showna). I always swore I’d never give my child a fancy name that would be a burden to her and I pick a name that no one can ever pronounce properly when they read it or spell correctly when they write it. Fortunately she’s always loved it and prefers it to her second name,which is Michelle.

L- Life is incomplete without? Family & Friends (surprise surprise: the same as Marjolein)

M- Marriage date: Funny, I can remember my marriage date, 9/2/74, but I can’t remember the date of my divorce

N- Number of siblings: one sister and two brothers

O- Oranges or apples: Apples. Oranges are so messy to eat and I hate the pips and the membrane thingy

P- Phobias or fears: Mice. Never knew I had this phobia until I was invaded by one a few years ago. I actually contemplated selling my house, how ridiculous is that?

Q- Fave quote: As you ramble though life, whatever your goal, keep your eye on the doughnut and not on the hole

R – Reasons to smile: Start with ‘being alive’ and take it from there

S – Season: Autumn. I always think it’s the best season in Melbourne (renowned for having four seasons in one day)

U – Unknown fact about me: Well if I told you, it wouldn’t be unknown would it?

V- Vegetable you don’t like: Pumpkin, Brussel Sprouts and Pickled Beetroot

W – Worst habit: Procrastination (I’ve probably got several habits worse than that but I want to be kind to myself)

X – Xrays: I guess so but I can’t remember any of them or when. I’ve never broken any bones (oh oh, is that tempting fate?)

Y – Your fave food: Chocolate, Mushrooms, Potatoes (especially mashed or roast)

Z- Zodiac sign: Taurus – that’s right, I’m full of Bull
