And glad you understand where I’m coming from Lena. Freebies abound in the scrapping world so it’s easy not to think about what goes into producing them.

Thanks for sharing this really nice freebie and its source Karen. I never thought seriously abt how thanks are actually those wonderful designers’ payment for their freebies, but now that you brought it out, i’m going to make a point to thank them whenever i download their work from now on! And that’s an awesome picture and LO!

Oh yes Kate. There’s a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of your photo editing software but then you amaze yourself at what you can do. The trick is not to fall into the trap of trying to design your own papers and elements. That’s something to think about doing later if your want (I’m happy to leave it to others like Andrea quite frankly). Use the multitude of stuff that’s already out there and then when you get a bit of experience and confidence under your belt, you can start modifying things and playing around with them.

Well once you do you’ll be hooked Hannah. I’m tipping Beka has been seduced over to the Dark Side now. And there’s no turning back.
I still do both but I find I produce much more interesting layouts digitally than with paper (I think anyway). Probably because the Undo button is so very liberating and there’s no issue with ruining supplies.
But I agree that sometimes you just have to have a lumpy bumpy fix.

What a beautiful layout, I’m always very impressed with digital scrapbooking as it is something I’m sure I couldn’t do!! I have some digital products that I got with a voucher I won, but haven’t yet printed them out to use for paper scrapping. I was amazed at what wonderful stuff there is out there, and I’m looking forward to using it for paper scrapping – something new and different for me! And who knows, maybe oneday I’ll attempt a digital layout myself!! :-0
