There’s a great new project happening in the blogosphere right now. It’s called Blog Action Day 2007 and the call is out to all bloggers to participate.
What is Blog Action Day 2007 about?
Well basically it’s about bloggers around the world uniting on a single day (October 15) to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind. For 2007 the issue is: The Environment.
What would happen if every blog published posts discussing the same issue, on the same day?
One issue. One day. Thousands of voices.
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.

The project is being organised by three prominent bloggers:
- Collis Ta’eed from Eden Creative Communities and NorthxEast
- Leo Babauta from ZenHabits, and
- Cyan Ta’eed who is responsible for one of the fastest growing blogs around - FreelanceSwitch.
Scraps of Mind will be participating on 15th october 2007 and posting an environment related article. How about You?

Same here, I’ll forget long before then. LOL

Well what I’ll be doing is writing my post in the next week or so and post dating the upload to 15 Oct. That way I’ll be sure not to forget. I’ll still be jet lagged, having just stepped off the plane from my Europe trip.
But I would expect that the project organisers would send out a reminder to everyone who’s registered before the day anyway.

If I remember correctly, the organisers will send out a reminder email to participants two days before the actual day, which is 13 Oct.
