StumbleUpon is a very nice resource. I learned about it after seeing traffic spikes on my sites. I must say when my items are stumbled the variation in subsequent page views is huge. I have had several many multiples of 10,000 (including forcing me to go to another host as my old host couldn't even handle what I think was not really huge traffic), which I was happy to do) but also many that don't even get to 200 in a day.

Great Info!

I'm looking for a site that will explain how this stumbleupon button can be added to the post.
The stumbleUpon site add button page instructions are not working.
I install SU firefox add-on just recently and love using it stumbling on different sites in category I like.

Yeah I love Stumble too. But you need to be careful how many of your own posts you Stumble and how frequently. Otherwise StumbleUpon will notice and you'll find your Stumbles won't generate as much traffic as before.

The best thing is for your readers to Stumble your posts, because that is telling StumbleUpon that the people who matter think your material is worth sharing with others.

[...] I’m more up to speed with StumbleUpon having used it for several months now. I have built up a list of friends (here is my Profile Page if you want to add me as a friend) and it’s fun Stumbling their favourite pages. I also enjoy using the Stumble toolbar to find new scrapbooking sites and give them a traffic boost by Stumbling them if I think their content is worth sharing with others. [...]
