"Why do you even do it?" As if its the biggest waste of time, or the least significant of hobbies. But to me, its more than a hobbie. I'm creating art, heirlooms...I'm preserving memories. I always wanted to be a great writer, but I could never really express myself with words quite as well as I would've liked to. Once I began scrapbooking, I knew that I'd found a place where I could let myself shine. That's important. A more personal reason I really got involved in scrapbooking... my father died of Alzheimers, during his ilness we scrapbooked together. I think it is wonderful that scrapbooking can be so many things to so many different people and also help each individual find fulfillment in so many different areas of their life.
