It’s Carnival Time for Digital Scrapbookers
Last week I wrote an article explaining what Blog Carnivals, and in particular the Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnivals, were all about. And how much value they can bring to the digital scrapbooking blogosphere if everyone joins in and supports them.
Well here’s your chance to see what I mean. The latest round of the Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnival is now up on HummiesWorld. And there are some fabbo submissions. It’s just bursting with tutorials, tips, ideas and challenges. You’d be mad not to check it out. Don’t forget to bring a cuppa when you do. It’s a perfect way to take a break from all the Christmas rush.
And when you see the sort of stuff on show there I want you all to join in on the fun for the next Carnival because it’s being held right here at Scraps of Mind.
I’ll be publishing the Scraps of Mind Round of the Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnival on January 1 to start the New Year with a scrapbooking bang. A great way to chill out after all the hectic whirl of the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
But to make it a great one I need you to help me fill it with digital scrapbooking ideas to share with everyone.
So if you’ve got a post or tutorial on your own blog that you think other scrapbookers might enjoy, or if you’ve come across something on another blog, please please please submit it to the carnival.
All you have to do is click here, or on Uncle Sam, and paste in the URL of the article you are submitting. Click somewhere else on the page and the form will go and collect the details of the URL you have submitted and fill in some of the spaces for you. Then just put in your own details and a sentence or two on what your submission is about and you’re done.
You’ll be doing a favour to whoever you submit the article from (and it can be your own work too, don’t forget) as they will get new readers to their blog when the carnival is published. And your own blog will get a link from Scraps of Mind when I publish the Carnival so that should send you some new readers too. See, goodness all round.
So here we go:
Your Mission Ms Phelps, should you choose to accept it (please do), is to first check out and enjoy the mid-December Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnival at HummiesWorld.
When you have accomplished that you will infiltrate the Digital Scrapbooking Blogoverse and seek out useful and interesting digital scrapbooking items and submit them to the Scraps of Mind round of the Digital Scrapbooking Blog Carnival by 30 December. You will use the official Code Book Form for all submission entries and do not allow it to fall into enemy hands.
On 1 January 2008 (or sometime soon after) you must return to Scraps of Mind Headquarters for a debriefing on the Blog Carnival.
Good luck Agents (cue appropriate background music)
Can’t wait to see what goodies you all come up with.
