Words to Live by

I farewelled a good friend this week.

He fought a long tough battle with Cancer and almost won. But it was not to be.

This one’s for you David.

Everything is created from moment to moment, always new.

Like fireworks, this universe is a celebration

and you are the spectator

contemplating the eternal Fourth of July of your absolute splendor.

Love the quote – I am sorry for your loss.

Thanks Kayla. David lived his life to the very end. And it was a life worth celebrating.

So sorry to read about your loss, it’s sad to lose someone close to one.

I hope you feel better and take care of yourself.

Best wishes. :O)

I am so sorry. What a great poem that is. I always loved the Auden poem recited in Four Weddings and a Funeral, but this has such a different tone. I love the idea of a life worth celebrating.
