A new magazine has come onto the market in the last few months. It’s called Scrapbook Dimensions and its focus is on Hybrid Scrapbooking. It’s where Traditional Paper Scrapbooking meets Digital Scrapbooking.
Two methods. One magazine. Uniting Traditional and Digital.
It’s so cool that there’s finally a magazine supporting the concept of bringing all scrapbooking techniques together. As those of you who have been reading Scraps of Mind for some time will know, I’m a big advocate of this.
And Scrapbooking Dimensions have now started a very cool social networking web site which you should definitely check out. It doesn’t matter whether you are a subscriber to the magazine or not. You can register and create your own page to showcase your various hybrid projects and interact with other hybrid scrapbookers. Have a look at my page to see what I mean.
I like this concept, it’s more that just a Gallery page on a scrapbooking web site and it’s not as big an effort as maintaining a blog. You can upload slideshows of your favourite Hybrid Scrapbooking projects and video etc. Kind of like a Facebook page but without all the crazy little applications that they keep plastering your Wall with.
And I was quite buzzed to find that the Scrapbook Dimensions Main Page is featuring some of my hybrid scrapbooking projects in their photo front page photo slide show for this week. So make sure you click over and check them out.

Very interesting site and you have some lovely hybrid items displayed.
Thanks Tink. I like how Scrapbook Dimensions have set up the site. I think it’s especially good for people who want to have a place to display their projects but don’t want to maintain a full blown blog.
I didn’t know about this new social network and it looks very smart and nice. I was actually thinking moving the blog to Ning but I didn’t want to move things around without trying more and getting familiar to see whether it was worth.
It looks fantastic, thanks for the tip and congratulations on getting your projects on the main page.
Thanks for the tip and best wishes. :O)
