Welcome everyone to the New Look Scraps of Mind.

As the Olympics dominates our thoughts and our TV time, bringing together the World in sporting challenge, it seems just the time to launch the new Scraps of Mind format.
I have thought of this site as an on-line scrapbooking magazine for some time. With its regular weekly segments and Guest Posters adding their own variety of style, it seems to grow more and more in this direction every day.
So the time has come to format it to be more in keeping with its magazine direction.
Scraps of Mind is now in a fixed width format so that it can be better viewed by those who want to read it in a window, rather than in a full screen (thanks for that contribution Tink). And by clicking on the displayed articles you will be taken to a full page view of them so you can read them in full and perhaps leave a comment or even give them a vote on StumbleUpon or the social media of your choice.
I’m a bit excited about this new look and I hope you like it. The Scraps of Mind Technical Division (that would be my daughter, Seona) and I still have some tweaking to do over the coming week so if you discover any little gremlins I would really appreciate you letting me know so we can get on to them right away. I was too excited by this to wait until we had got everything perfect before launching. And frankly I think perfection is a bit over-rated anyway.
And I also invite readers who would like to contribute to the Scraps of Mind Magazine, either as a regular segment, such as Texture Tuesday, or with a one-off article to let me know. I just love the variety that you bring and I’m more than happy to send some extra traffic your way too.
So thank you all for your fantastic support of Scraps of Mind, and I look forward to delivering even more great scrapbook related stuff to your computer monitors in the future.

Thanks a lot Charlie. It’ still has some tweaking to do, so if you’ve noticed anything flaky please let me know.
