Before I announce the inaugural winner of the prestigious Scraps of Mind Outstanding Commenter Award for August 2008, I’d just like to take a moment to tell you . . . this is harder than I thought it would be!

I’ve reviewed all the comments for August and there were some really great ones, for which I thank you all.

However this month’s winner is…

[drum-roll, drum-roll, drum-roll]

Laura.

Scraps of Mind Outstanding Commenter of the Month

Laura has only started commenting on Scraps of Mind over the last month or so. At first she used to email her comments directly to me. But then she began to use the comments section under the posts, and there was no stopping her. Laura is not only the most prolific commenter on Scraps of Mind for August 2008, but her comments are always great contributions to whatever the discussion is about.

So thank you very much Laura. I will email you the code for the award so you can paste it into your blog, if you have one. And if you do have a blog please let me know the URL so I can link to it here.

And remember next month’s award could go to you.

All you need to do to be in the running is to start commenting on Scraps of Mind articles. The award might go to someone who has made the most comments or to someone who has made a few really really great comments or for any outstanding reason. So why not you?
