I was visiting my parents one day and was on my hands and knees cleaning up a mess my young daughter had made. I happened to look up and I was amazed at the view from that height. Lets just say it lead me to scrapping a page called "Views from a Rear View Mirror" After I did that my family did everything they could do to make sure that I couldn't catch them in a "rearend" shot. It's become a contest between my sister and I to see who can collect the most unique shot!

I love doing silly photos! I really just scrapbook pictures I love. They can be silly or they can be serious. I have a photo that I want to scrapbook soon - of the kids at the adoption site being kissed by our puppy.

Hey that sounds like a really cool idea Sherry. And it'll be a great feature at his 18th birthday. Looking forward to seeing the layout.

I agree totally!!! I do this but I don't do it with things. I scrapbook the usual events in life, but I do a lot of scrapbooking the "everyday" moments in life. My youngest son is 2 and he is a clown and always the center of attention. He is always making funny faces and they are so original to him. So one day I took all sorts of pictures of him and his faces and I plan to scrapbook them. I'll have to get back to you all when I get around to it.

I love silly, Laura. I think it's the spice of life. They sound like two topics for great layouts. But they don't have to be pictureless. You can take a photo of some medical apparatus or the dressings from your toe for the first one and maybe a packet of diapers together with a painting brush for the second.

I just saw an article about scrapbooking events when you have no pictures and am planning to do a few on some really funny and silly things. I broke my toe during a blackout in a blizzard. It was stuck at a complete 90 degree angle. Everyone in the ER was feeling sorry for me(it didn't even hurt much) and all I wanted was for someone to take a picture! I know they thought I was crazy!

The other event took place when my son-in-law was taking care of his two young kids for a while. He went upstairs for a few minutes and came down to discover a real mess. My granddaughter(18 months) had crawled into a laundry basket, removed her very stinky diaper and then proceeded to paint the whole room in "poo"! I would have given anything to see the look on his face!! These are just two "pictureless" ideas I'm working on plus with your idea I have several more ideas. Guess I can be pretty silly at times but hey, life is never dull around here!!
