Saturday Scrapbooking Ideas #24

Rub-ons can be quite expensive for paper scrapbookers. Well why not try making your own?

Print your rub-on design onto a sheet of transparent film using your home printer. You don’t want to load too much ink onto it so change the setting to Draft.

When you’ve printed out your transparency you can apply it face down on you layout and rub the back of it with the back of a spoon to transfer the design to your layout.

It’s probably best to choose a simple design or an alphabet character to minimise any fuzziness on the transfer. And I would recommend you try it out on a scrap of paper before applying it directly to your scrapbook layout.
