I don’t necessarily mean professional quality, but someone who understands how to get the best out of a camera. Someone who understand the little tricks and secrets that can lift your photos from humdrum happy snaps (so sorry, that’s me) to something a bit special.

Well if that sounds like you, then…

how would you like to write a regular photography segment on Scraps of Mind?

I’m looking for someone who knows their way around a camera and is willing to share their knowledge to help the rest of us happy snappers to improve our game.

I thought an article or tutorial maybe twice a month could build into a great series for scrapbooking photographers. You could maybe cover topics ranging from how to hold a camera properly, through to how to get special effects with your photos.

The sky’s the limit. There are no boundaries on what photographic topics you can choose.

Obviously as one of the Scraps of Mind journalist team you would get full credit and also links at the top and bottom of your article back to your own blog or web site. This can only help you to increase your traffic and readership, as other guest posters on Scraps of Mind well know.

Last year Kayla from The Legacy Lady kicked off this theme with her great article, Photography is about 30% Camera. However you would be able to structure your own articles to suit your own style and approach.
