One of the best things to come into my life was Scrapbooking.
And even better that that was when Digital Scrapbooking came into my life.
I made this video telling the story of my scrapbooking journey for my Step by Step Digital Scrapbook site that teaches beginners how to digital scrapbook, so it has references to the site. But I thought you might like to hear the story. And regular readers of Scraps of Mind might enjoy seeing my head bobbing about on their monitor.
Prior to my scrapbooking days I always believed that I didn’t have a creative bone in my body. And it’s only thanks to scrapbooking that I have come to realize that this is simply not true.
My love for scrapbooking motivated me to start Scraps of Mind which is devoted to all things scrapbooking. And my desire to share how digital scrapbooking can so easily unlock your creativity was what motivated me to start Step by Step Digital Scrapbooking. I wanted a place where beginners could find out what they needed to know to get themselves started.
And I wanted to be able to offer them the opportunity of extra coaching help to really kick start their creative journey. So I designed and created the Step by Step Digital Scrapbook Mentoring Program.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed the video.
How does it compare to your own story? I’d love it if you would share your scrapbooking journey in the comments section below.

I love your video! I too was not ‘creative’ until I discovered scrapbooking…and yet, when I did, I haven’t stopped at all in the 10 years since I started!
I still need to really sit down, take the time and see what the digi-scrapping is all about.
Enjoyed seeing you ‘come-alive’ on my screen!

Thank you Cheryl. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It’s amazing how scrapbooking can open your eyes to your own creativity isn’t it. Maybe it’s because the projects aren’t so large as to be daunting and scary.

It’s always a bit scary doing a video of your ‘talking head’ Corina. I do heaps of tutorial videos for Step by Step Digital Scrapbook, so I’m now used to hearing my own voice. But seeing your head bobbing about ir quite weird.
Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed it.

Oh wonderful! Just wonderful! I nodded and hummed in approval a few times, so we had a nice conversation
And I can only agree: Go for it people! Karen is probably the best teacher there is!
