Easter is many things.
It is obviously a festival of Christian significance, celebrating the sacrifice and rebirth of Christ.
It has long been a festival celebrating the new life and rebirth that is Spring (in the northern hemisphere that is. down here in Oz we’re in Autumn.)
It is a welcome holiday break for those who are coming out of a long Winter and for those of us who are farewelling the Summer.
So whatever Easter is to you, and whatever you are going to be doing over the coming weekend I wish you Joy, Peace and a happy long weekend.
