Hi, and welcome to this edition of the Scraps of Mind Word Art Newsletter.
The Word Art Newsletter has been in publication for a year now. I can hardly believe it when I think about it. Whether you are someone who has been with me from the beginning or whether you have joined in through the year, I’d like to say a big thank you for all your support.

A Year Along the Way
Yes, it’s been a whole year since the Scraps of Mind Word Art Newsletter rolled out it’s first edition. And what a year it’s been: growing from a standing start to just over 1000 subscribers.
When I first started the newsletter I wasn’t sure what I was going to write in it each week. Writing for Scraps of Mind as well as my other projects was pretty all encompassing. But fortunately I found stuff that was different from what I write on Scraps of Mind to include here with the three pieces of word art.
And I loved how well you all received the word art. Thank you so very much for all your lovely emails and comments on Scraps of Mind. As any of you who write blogs know, it can be a lonely sort of thing when you keep writing stuff and don’t get much feedback. You never know if anyone is really interested.
And you can pick up some extra Christmas Word Art from a special page that I will be putting up on Scraps of Mind throughout December as part of the Worldwide Christmas Scrapbooking Freebies celebration.
This will be the last Word Art Newsletter for 2008, so I want to take this opportunity to thank you for taking this journey with me.
I wish you a safe, happy and fun-filled holiday season and may all your hopes and dreams for 2009 come to fruition.

Highlights from Scraps of Mind
Just so you could see the face behind the keyboard, I posted this video of me talking about how I became involved with scrapbooking and how it evolved to digital scrapbooking.
If you were wondering how to use some of the great textures that Wildheart has been posting in her Texture Tuesday series, you might like to read how I use textures with Photoshop Elements.
And with Christmas breathing down our necks, why not pop an extra pressy in Mum’s stocking by downloading the Scraps of Mind Yummy Treats eRecipe Book.
And just for a bit of fun, here’s my Scrapbookers’ Lament.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s Word Art Newsletter.
Don’t forget the Word Art will only be available for downloading for a month after the newsletter goes out. After that the links will not work.
And please note that the Word Art I offer to you in this Newsletter is for personal use only. It is not to be used in any product that is to be sold to others.
Have a great Christmas and New year and I’ll see you in 2009.
