The Power of Virtual Massage

I have a sore neck!

Now this is not entirely a new thing for me. About five years ago I was plagued with neck problems which prevented me from moving my head in any direction without a lot of pain. A challenge to driving, amongst other things.

I went to the chiroprator for over three years to subject myself to extreme bone crunching to bring the problem under control and thought I had.

But over this last week I’ve been feeling neck pains that don’t appear to have any plans of going away in the forseeable future.

So I’m calling on the empathy of you readers to try a little long distance experiment.

As you’re reading this, I’d like you to put your hands behind your head and start to massage your neck. Really squeeze those muscles running down to your shoulders. Put your head back and then forward and stretch it out. Try to touch your ear to each shoulder.

And all the time you’re doing this think of me. Channel all your thoughts towards me. Unless of course, you have neck problems yourself, in which case you’ll need to stay focussed on you.

I’m going to be sitting here receiving your vibes.

Ahhh…I can feel them starting to come through. That feels very good.

Thank you for helping ease the pain, and I hope you also got a nice little massage out of this too.

Highlights from Scraps of Mind

Hope you enjoyed the article on Monochrome color schemes. I hade tried a few alternatives for those photos of the gorgeous gardens as Belliura Homestead on the Mornington Peninsula (and by the way, the house itself is a glorious testament to art deco life, well worth a visit if you’re ever down that way). But they just didn’t make an impact until I went with that monochrome color scheme.

And I hope Hybrid Scrapbooking, perfect for Cardmaking gave you some ideas for making your own cards by combining your digital and paper scrapbooking skills.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on does size matter… in scrapbooking. I thought it was a bit of a fun piece.

And the official deadline for getting your layouts in for the Scraps of Mind Yummy Treats Recipe Book was last Sunday. But please contact me if you need an extra day or two, or if you’ve just discovered the project and want to try and get your contribution included. I’m keen to have the eBook available to you for Mothers Day and I’m not sure how long it will take me to pull it together so I’m going to have to close the doors this week to new entries.

If you haven’t heard what this great scrapbooking group project is all about, I explain all in this little video I made.
